Beach Front Cottages
Just steps from the shore, our duplex cottages are nestled on the hillside, surrounded by coconut palms and tropical foliage. All private balconies enjoy fabulous views of Manchioneel Bay and The Sir Frances Drake Channel.
Each open-plan guest room is bright and airy with a traditional Caribbean hipped-roof. Louvered windows allow the breeze to pass through with the soothing sound of the waves. The vaulted wooden ceiling and cupola roof lets the warm air escape and a ceiling fan above the bed keeps guests cool at night without the need for air conditioning.
The en-suite bathroom leads to an outdoor shower and private rear staircase with rinse station. Our fresh water supply comes from the sky and solar water heaters supply the showers with hot water.
Ninety photovoltaic panels on the restaurant roof now provide the resort with up to 70% of its power needs. Each guest room has 24hr power for lighting and ceiling fan, plus a 110 Volt outlet in each room can recharge cameras, iPods, laptops etc. (Please leave hair dryers, irons and other high voltage appliances at home).
